Goal of the Program
"To prepare competent, entry-level paramedics in the cognitive (knowledge), psychomotor (skills), and affective (behavior) learning domains with or without exit points at the Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Technician, and/or Emergency Medical Responder levels."

This summer, prepare for greater responsibility by enrolling in the University of Arizona's new Paramedic Training Program.

  • Complete 42 credit hours through hands-on courses.
  • Gain advanced skills through immersive simulations and field internship opportunities with expert Tucson paramedics.
  • Achieve competencies to pass the National Registry exam and become a certified paramedic across Arizona.
  • Certified paramedics are primed for in-demand first responder roles.
  • Upon completion of the program, students will be eligible to declare a Bachelor of Science in EMS major.
