Emergency Medicine Podcast Reaches Milestone 100th Episode

AZEMCast, an educational emergency medicine podcast, was developed in 2013 by University of Arizona emergency medicine physicians to differentiate evidence-based medicine from experience-based medicine. In October 2021, the podcast completed its 100th episode. Aaron Leetch, MD, talks about the AZEMCast’s development, who’s listening and future plans.

New DEM Intern Profile Joshua B. Calton

UArizona College of Medicine – Tucson 2021 graduate Joshua B. Calton stayed in Tucson after matching with the five-year Combined Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Residency at the Department of Emergency Medicine. He did his undergraduate studies at UArizona, majoring in physiology and completed his bachelor’s degree in three years. His hometown is Granite Bay, California, near Sacramento.
