Accolades to Emergency Medicine Revenue Team
Peggy Hatmaker, reimbursement manager, Department of Emergency Medicine (DEM) for the Practice Plan; and Kelly Kellen, revenue cycle director, work to assure the success of DEM revenue cycle in EPIC and have trained their staff to operate successfully.
Peggy served as a resource to reimbursement coordinators in several other departments to provide guidance, and she took a lead in identifying system issues and promptly reporting them to the Epic team and Provider Business Office for fixes.
