Prescription for Drowning Prevention
For pediatricians in southern Arizona, working together to prevent child water incidents means making sure parents realize that leaving a child unattended for even just two seconds, is too long.
"These are some of the hardest cases we deal with in the pediatric emergency room," said Dr. Melissa Zukowski, who heads the pediatric emergency department at Banner UMC.
