Where are you from?

Phoenix, Arizona

What are your personal interests/hobbies?

Most of my hobbies align perfectly with living in the desert: hiking, trail running, basketball, and hanging out around the pool with friends.

What are your professional interests?

Within emergency medicine I have particular interest in critical care, point of care ultrasound, and medical education.

Why did you choose UA EM?

UA EM provided the perfect blend of rich history, strong academics with emphasis on many of my professional interests, and most importantly great people. Although I grew up in Phoenix, I was actually born in Banner University Medical Center in Tucson. It was always a dream of mine to become a Wildcat and train in the hospital I was born.

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

The opportunity to move to Tucson allowed me to be close to family while living in the same climate I grew up in. I am excited to explore the great food and culture in this city.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

I hope to build relationships that will last a lifetime as I embark on this new journey.
