What are your personal interests/hobbies?

I am passionate about sailing, sea-kayaking and skiing. Now that I am desert bound, I am excited to focus on mountain biking and exploring the Southwest.

What are your professional interests?

EMS systems and the delivery of remote medical care.

Why did you choose UA EM?

I wanted a program that provided me with strong clinical training, stellar faculty, and most importantly, a solid group of residents.

What's your ideal vacation?

Heading out on the water or into the mountains with good friends.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Avoiding the ER while mountain biking and exploring a region that is brand new to me. I also would like to become the opposite of a scorpion-whisperer, because I’m pretty sure I don’t like those things even though I haven’t met any yet.
