What are your personal interests/hobbies?

Drinking fancy, home-brewed coffee with my wife and laughing at how ridiculous parenting can be. Swimming laps, disc golfing, hiking, playing most sports (or perhaps imagining I can still play them), reading good literature, creative writing and playing too many video games.

What are your professional interests?

Ultrasound, international medicine, critical care.

Why did you choose UA EM?

Because the people in Tucson are the finest, friendliest people and AZ winters are unspeakably beautiful. Also, the food. Guys... the food.

What's your ideal vacation?

Going to a cabin in woodsy mountains with my wife with good books, good coffee and good trails to explore.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Have an even better relationship with my wife than when I started residency. Raise our children into decent human beings. Have another kid. Take up carpentry and learn how to put shelves on plaster walls.
