Sports medicine and academics

Why did you choose UA EM?

There are so many reasons, but the biggest was the people. I felt that I immediately fit in with the residents and was comfortable and relaxed around the faculty and support staff. It's a very laid-back and collaborative environment. On top of that, the opportunity to train at both a county and an academic institution was very appealing to me.

Favorite activity in Tucson?

Catching an Arizona basketball game at McKale Center and eating at one of the many phenomenal local restaurants.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Go to as many Arizona football and basketball games as possible and travel internationally.
