Seattle, WA

Rock climbing, skiing, running, board games, tennis, soccer, biking, and bad puns

Why did you choose UA EM?

For one, the people! I felt right at home even interviewing in the virtual setting. I remember one resident saying that she wished there was a hospital filled with UA alums because it will be sad to part ways after graduating since they want to keep hanging out. Additionally, the variety of training sites, chance to improve my Spanish, and mentorship to carve out my EM niche absolutely drew me.

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

Absorbing vitamin D, enjoying the opposite of New England winters, and the outdoor adventures to be had right at our doorstep

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Explore the southwest's national parks, grow a hot pepper with my partner, and develop a new bouldering route
