Why did you choose UA EM?

Friendly department with solid academic chops, tons of action, and unbeatable nationwide network of alums. Plus I knew coming to Tucson would be an adventure!

Favorite activity in Tucson?

Hiking and camping on Mt Lemmon. It’s not in Tucson but nearby Tombstone is awesome.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

My wife is an architect in town and our relationship is my top priority amidst the challenges of residency. I’ve found this program very supportive of residents and their families since I’ve been here. Despite the heavy hours and plenty of stress, the residents and attendings go the extra mile to make sure you get enough time out of the hospital to be happy.
