What are your personal interests/hobbies?

Triathlons, waterskiing, SCUBA, hiking, biblical study, deer hunting, fishing, disc golf, whipping up delicious meals.

What are your professional interests?

EM-Pediatrics, Child abuse, disaster-relief medicine, Native American health, underserved populations.

Why did you choose UA EM?

I chose to go into EM-Pediatrics, and after doing an away rotation at Tucson during my 4th year, I found my future home. I appreciated the investment that the faculty and residents took in me during my time here as a student, and I can’t imagine a better place to enjoy the outdoors.

What's your ideal vacation?

Backpacking trip around New Zealand and Australia, finishing with SCUBA at the great barrier reef.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Improve at rock climbing and ultimate Frisbee, find the best tacos in Tucson, buy a house, travel at least one awesome place a year.
