Hiking/backpacking, rock climbing, slacklining, cooking, reading

Wilderness Medicine, Medical Education, Quality Improvement

Why did you choose UA EM?

After interviewing and visiting in person, UA was a natural fit for me. The program feels like a tight-knit family and they work hard to provide opportunities to ensure their residents achieve their personal and professional goals.

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

I absolutely love the desert, and Tucson is central to all my favorite outdoor activities. Having easy access to these during residency will help keep me grounded.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Prioritize self-care, maintain strong relationships, and make the most of any and all free time I can get my hands on!
