Where are you from?

Small town Massachusetts to Phoenix, Arizona. Tucson for medical training and perhaps for life.

What are your personal interests/hobbies?

Spending time with family, stress‐baking, running to offset my baking, reading sci‐fi, mystery and fantasy novels, pretending my parents’ dog is actually my dog.

What are your professional interests?

Professional interests include Toxicology, Addiction Medicine, Medical Education, and Social Emergency
Medicine.

Why did you choose UA EM?

I love the people here ‐ the residents, faculty, and staff made me feel so welcome as a student and continually inspire me. I have enjoyed my time in Tucson immensely and not only does it feel like home, but so does our program. I have also had such incredible mentors during medical school and am excited to continue working with and learning from the faculty here.

What's your ideal vacation?

Anywhere with a beach, mountain, forest or a soft bed. Also, Disneyland. I’m easy to please!

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Learn to cook better. I can bake, but cooking has always eluded me, which is terribly sad because I love food. My husband and I would like to buy a home and become dog parents!
