Rock climbing, running, skateboarding, backpacking, canyoneering, and basically anything else that involves being outside!

Critical Care, Difficult Airway, Toxicology, Medical Education

Why did you choose UA EM?

I wanted an academic Emergency Medicine program with strong ties to its surrounding community, a diverse patient population, and plenty of opportunities for growth. UA checks all of these boxes and many more. My interactions with the faculty and residents let me know that I would be supported and feel right at home here. On top of all that, Tucson seemed like a great place to live.

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

The mountains, the weather, and the food!

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Get into mountain biking, sharpen my home improvement skills, work on my Spanish, and spend as much time as possible with my wife.
