What are your personal interests/hobbies?

I am very big into sports. I enjoy playing basketball, football, golf, skiing and running. I'm always up for any competitive sport/activity at any time though. My wife and I enjoy traveling together, going to movies and eating great food.

What are your professional interests?

Sports Medicine and Ultrasound.

Why did you choose UA EM?

UA EM had everything I was looking for in a program. I wanted to attend a 3 year University program with subspecialty tracks offered during residency and possible fellowships that I think I may want to pursue. The people I met on my interview day were great and I felt like it would be a great fit for me and my family. My wife and I were very familiar with Arizona after working here for a few years prior to starting residency so we felt right at home.

What's your ideal vacation?

I like going to places with a lot of history to explore. We usually alternate a vacation to a place with loads of history and then a place with a beach and lots of sun.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Be able to hold a semi-intelligible conversation en espanol. Run the marathon down Mt. Lemmon and crush my prior marathon times without destroying my knees. Be present as much as possible for my wife and kids.
