What are your professional interests?

Medical Education, Health Policy

Why did you choose UA EM?

While rotating as a 4th year medical student, I truly admired how residents were consistently going above and beyond for their patients. I appreciated the opportunity to work in both an academic and community setting by rotating at multiple training sites. I was impressed how faculty pushed you to be better while cheering you on along the way. Finally, I experienced the UA EM sense of family. Their love and support for one another stood out among the rest and is ultimately why I ranked them #1!

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

The mountains and the food! As a born and raised Arizonan, being somewhere warm was a must for me! In the Winter you can ski & snowboard, in the Spring/Fall you can hike & bike, and in the Summer, well you probably will want to just enjoy a drink by the pool. Also, Tucson's local eateries are next level. You will never feel tempted to eat at a chain here.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Cultivate new friendships, host more dinner parties, travel to cool places, balance work & family, and finally plan my fiancé & I's wedding!
