President and Mrs. Obama ariived in Tucson on January 12, 2011 to attend the memorial service held at McKale Center for the victims of the tragic shooting on January 8. Prior to the memorial, the Obamas visited the UMC Emergency Department and saw patients at UMC who survived the shooting.
