A. Gilbert, AZ

 

What are your personal interests/hobbies?

A. I enjoy spending time with my wife and watching our kids grow up. I like hiking, biking, swimming, and riding horses.

What are your professional interests?

A. Community emergency medicine and rural medicine in Arizona. I also want to own a ranch someday.

Why did you choose UA EM?

A. I love the location, the people in the program, and having resources of a big university in a small residency class.

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

A. I look forward to speaking Spanish. I’m attracted to the variety of terrain, recreational activities available, and delicious food.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

A. I want to build a garden, landscape my backyard, and read a few good books.
