Rachel D. Munn, DO
Contact:
Dr. Munn is a Midwesterner by heart, beginning her medical career at the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, and continuing in the Emergency Medicine residency at the OhioHealth Doctors Hospital program in Columbus, OH. She then felt the call of the Southwest, and moved to Albuquerque, NM to complete a fellowship in Emergency Medical Services before settling in Tucson, AZ to begin her career. Dr. Munn works clinically in all three of the Banner University Medical Center emergency departments (Tucson, South, and Diamond Children’s), serves as faculty for the BUMCT EM residency as well as with the EMS fellowship. Since starting with BUMC and the U of A in 2020, she has curated an EMT and paramedic recertification program for local agencies and assisted in starting a Physician Emergency Response Vehicle program within the EMS fellowship. Her interests include EMS, of course, as well as resident and prehospital provider education, and wilderness medicine. As having outside interests is imperative, she also enjoys hiking, camping, casual rock climbing (the distinction is important), travel, and trying ALL of the restaurants.
