Dr. Rawani-Patel grew up in New Hyde Park, New York. She earned her undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University and her master’s degree at Boston University. She competed her medical degree at St. George’s University in 2014. She became a part of the University of Arizona family as a resident in the 5-year combined Emergency Medicine and Pediatrics residency. Following graduation, she worked at LAC-USC before returning to the University of Arizona as faculty.
Her professional interests include pediatric emergency medicine and simulation education.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two daughters. She enjoys traveling, especially to San Diego to enjoy the beach life and exploring national parks.
