What are your personal interests/hobbies?
Beach, hiking, fishing and creating electronic music.
What are your professional interests?
Toxicology focusing on drugs of abuse, wilderness medicine.
Why did you choose UA EM?
I wanted to stay out west, and UA is a really well rounded program with the perfect blend of clinical experience and academics. Tucson seems like an awesome town, and my sister is a current OBGYN resident here as well.
What's your ideal vacation?
Sunshine, beach, good food, and cocktails served in coconuts.
What are your non-medical goals during residency?
Wear more sunscreen. Learn to cook something besides cinnamon toast crunch or quesadillas. I also hope to up my succulent/cactus game.
