What are your personal interests/hobbies?

All the EM things. Climbing, mountain biking, snowboarding, trail running, fitness, coffee. I also enjoy reading old school sci-fi/fantasy and finding new activities to do with my 2 year old son.

Ultrasound, ECMO, Sports Medicine, Rural Health, Critical Care

Why did you choose UA EM?

Amazing faculty and residents, friendly supportive culture and a solid hybrid program with a good mix of academic/community experience.

Favorite activity in Tucson, or what attracted you to Tucson besides the residency program?

There's too many to count. If you like outdoor activities you can pretty much do whatever you want year round here as long as you don't mind the heat.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Be a good dad and have fun.
