What are your personal interests/hobbies?

I like most things outdoors like skiing, hiking, sailing, and surfing. I’m a woodworker and like building my own furniture when I can. I am also a huge board game nerd.    

What are your professional interests?

Wilderness medicine and EMS.

Why did you choose UA EM?

I did my away rotation at UA and knew right away it would be a great fit for me. The training was excellent and it had the exact vibe I was looking for with an emphasis on learning in a great working environment. 

What's your ideal vacation?

Any place that includes a combination of relaxation with the beautiful outdoors.

What are your non-medical goals during residency?

Go to all 50 US states (I’m only missing 7), keep the potted citrus trees in my backyard alive long enough to grow fruit, and explore Arizona.
